Drawn with my left hand

I was reading something about challenging your patterns and trying approaching problems and tasks in new ways. The suggestion was made to write with your non-dominant hand. I chose to draw. Not too bad. :)

Groovy Gals and Guys

Lies

Vinyl letters, paint, and charcoal.

Quick, gestural drawings.

Quick, gestural drawings. Sometimes I feel I overwork my images. Gesture drawings can be so freeing.

Blinded

I feel like I need to revisit my drawing a practice. I enjoy it and I find I am more expressive in my representations when working in drawing (over painting and collage).

KITTY!

Just kitties (in jammies)! :)

Two Page Spreads

Postcard Sized Painting and Drawing

Painting, drawing, and collage.

Plants

I've been using the last remaining bits of white acrylic paint to cover over and re-imagine old drawings, paintings, and collages. That is evident in the top image. The bottom image is watercolor and marker. My scanner does not capture colors correctly but this is pretty close.

Collage with Words

More in the series of collages using text elements. Either using text as found or hiding text to create a new meaning of the sentence or paragraph.

Collage and Paint

I've been using the last remaining bits of white acrylic paint to cover over and re-imagine old drawings, paintings, and collages. That is evident in images 2 and 3. The top image is a collage with a bit of watercolor to add dimension to rock wall-like sketch under the head. My scanner does not capture colors correctly but this is pretty close.
